Pricing approach

How we price HVAC website projects

Every Ventquorix project is quoted from a written brief, because two contractor sites with the same page count can need very different work. This page explains how we scope, what moves the number and what you always get.

Ventquorix quotes each HVAC website as a fixed project fee based on a written brief, plus an optional monthly care plan. The price depends mainly on how much copy needs writing, how many distinct page layouts are needed, booking and financing integrations, and redesign migration work. For published market ranges, see our HVAC website cost guide.

Why there are no fixed packages here

Package prices look simple, but they hide the real variables. A two van shop that already has good notes on its services needs a very different project from a forty technician company replacing a site with years of pages and links. Packages either overcharge the first or leave the second with change orders. A short written scope avoids both.

If you want to know what the wider market charges before you talk to anyone, our HVAC website cost guide collects published 2026 ranges and explains how to compare quotes.

What drives the price of your project

How much copy needs writing

Writing is often the largest single part of a contractor site. If the office can supply notes on services, service areas and plans, and someone can review drafts quickly, the project moves faster and costs less. If every page needs research and writing from scratch, the scope is larger.

How many distinct page layouts you need

Ten service pages built from one well planned template take far less design time than ten pages that each need a unique layout. Most contractor sites need a handful of templates: home, service, service area, plan, guide and contact.

Booking, financing and other integrations

Connecting your field service platform's booking widget, a lender's application link or a CRM adds planning and testing. A simple request form is a smaller job than a live scheduling integration.

Redesign and migration work

Replacing a site with years of pages, posts and links needs a full URL map and redirect plan. That work protects existing traffic, and it is quoted as its own line so you can see it.

Photography

Real photos of your team, trucks and work make a large difference to trust. A planned half day shoot is often a better use of budget than extra pages, and we can scope it with you or work with your own photographer.

What every project includes

Whatever the size, these are part of every quote rather than extras:

  • A page map and written copy reviewed with you before design starts.
  • Mobile first layouts tested on real phones.
  • Your license number shown where your state requires it in advertising.
  • Real reviews displayed with their source, never written for you.
  • Accessibility checks with WCAG 2.2 AA as the working target.
  • Speed checks against Google's Core Web Vitals thresholds.
  • Titles, descriptions, structured data, a sitemap and Search Console set up in your name.
  • A handover guide so the office can update prices, offers and hours.

How a quote is put together

  1. You send a brief. The brief builder produces one in about ten minutes, or we build it with you on a short call.
  2. We review the brief and your current site. If something is unclear, we ask by email rather than guessing.
  3. You receive a written scope. It lists every page, every integration, what we need from you, the timeline and the price, split into the fixed project fee and the optional monthly care plan.
  4. Changes are priced before work starts. If the scope grows during the project, you see the cost and approve it first.

How payment works

Project fees are split into stages tied to milestones, typically structure approval, design approval and launch. Care plans are billed monthly and can be canceled. Your domain, hosting account, content and analytics are in your name from the start, so you keep everything whatever you decide later.

Ways to keep the cost down without cutting corners

  • Start with fewer, better pages. Launch with your core services and top towns, then add more once the site is earning.
  • Supply your own notes. Bullet points from the office about each service save writing time.
  • Use your existing booking tool rather than a custom integration.
  • Plan a photo day with your team and trucks instead of buying stock images.
  • Decide quickly. Projects that wait weeks for feedback cost more to restart.

When we are not the right fit

If you need a working site this week for a few hundred dollars, a website builder will serve you better, and we will say so. If you are a large commercial mechanical contractor bidding on projects, you likely need a different kind of site from what we build. Saying this early saves everyone time.

Why does Ventquorix not list fixed packages?

Because contractor sites vary a lot in copy needs, page layouts, booking integrations and migration work. A written scope based on your brief is more accurate and avoids surprise change orders later.

Is the website a monthly subscription?

No. The build is a fixed project fee. Hosting and care are an optional monthly plan you can cancel, and you own the domain, content and accounts either way.

What do you need from me to send a quote?

A brief covering your services, service area, booking approach, plan and financing details, the proof you can show and your timing. The brief builder walks through all of it.

Where can I see typical market prices?

Our HVAC website cost guide lists published 2026 ranges by build type, ongoing costs and questions to ask when comparing quotes.
