This notice explains what personal data the Ventquorix website collects, why, how long we keep it and the choices you have. It covers ventquorix.site and the emails we exchange with people who contact us through it.
What we collect
When you use the contact form or email us
We collect what you choose to send: your name, email address and message, and optionally your company name, website address and state. We use this only to reply to you and to discuss a possible project.
When you use the brief builder
The brief builder runs entirely in your browser. Your answers are not sent to us or stored by us. If you decide to email us your brief, we treat it like any other message.
When you browse the site
Our web host keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, the pages requested, the date and time, and browser information. These logs are used for security, troubleshooting and to understand overall site traffic. The site does not use advertising cookies or third party tracking scripts. See our cookie notice for details.
Contact form security
To protect the form from abuse, it uses a short lived session cookie and a security token, and it records request counts in a way that does not store your IP address in readable form. These measures exist only to stop spam and automated misuse.
How we use personal data
- To reply to your messages and discuss projects you ask about.
- To keep the website secure and working.
- To keep records of our correspondence, as any business does.
We do not sell personal data. We do not share it for anyone else's marketing. We do not add you to a mailing list.
Who we share it with
We use service providers to run the website and email, such as our hosting company and email provider. They process data on our behalf to provide those services. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Contact messages and related emails: up to two years after our last exchange, unless we start working together, in which case project records are kept as long as needed for the project and for ordinary business and tax records.
- Server logs: kept for a limited period set by our host for security and troubleshooting.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or ask questions about how it is used, by emailing hello@ventquorix.site. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to confirm your identity.
Some US state privacy laws, such as the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, give residents specific rights, including rights to know, delete and correct personal information and to opt out of its sale or sharing. Those laws apply to businesses that meet certain thresholds. Whether or not a particular law applies to us, we offer the access, correction and deletion requests described above to everyone, and we do not sell or share personal information for cross context behavioral advertising.
Security
The site uses HTTPS. Mail credentials are stored outside the public part of the website. Access to messages is limited to the people who need it to reply. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you send us.
Children
This website is intended for business owners and staff. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
